The Korean BBQ has been a staple of the Korean cuisine in Mesa for 15 years. The original owner Mar Yun was one of the first restaurateurs to recognize that the Asian influence in the east valley would be huge. Mr. Yun stylized his restaurant after the neighborhood BBQ’s you can find on any corner in Seoul. He was one of the first to actually satisfy city requirements to have grills right in the tables.

The décor was revised several times over the years. Mr. Yun tried sushi at one time. A competition became stiffer he was forced to return to what he started with the traditional Korean cuisines.

When we selected the Korean BBQ  we had several things in mind. The name was a perfect choice for this restaurant because its name was the description of the specific ethnic cuisine We now have the most internet hits of any other Korean restaurant because our name is the search term. This is huge. It was an established enterpriseand has a large Korean customer base.
